well, I'm giving you a review for pokemon colosseum.
info: this game is almost like the two older pokemon stadium games except for these differences, you can only use the pokemon advance games, that means ruby, saphire, and maybe fire red, leaf green, and emerald.
there is also a story mode in the side game as well.
so pokemon fans who wanted a 3d pokemon RPG should love this game.
in story mode, you play as an ex-snagma member named Leo(or whatever you named him) who has a different goal rather then becoming a pokemon master, his dream is to stop team snagem and their plans to take over the world with shadow pokemon.
what's a shadow pokemon?
a Shadow pokemon are normal pokemon that had their hearts closed shut.
shadow pokemon has a wicked move called "shadow rush", a typless move that is uneffected by type match up.
the pokemon who uses it can also hurt itself as well.
sometimes it can to into hyper mode.
in hyper mode,
the chances of hitting the weak spot using shadow rush will increase.
sometimes shadow pokemon can attack pokemon and humans alike. (dangerous creatures, arn't they?)
there arn't any wild pokemon in this game.
so instead, you steal shadow pokemon from trainers.
why? because it is you other goal to turn all shadow pokemon back to the way they were.
the good news is that you can catch some uncatchable pokemon in this game that arn't normally caughted in ruby and sahpire.
but the bad news is that you can't trade them until you've beaten the game. (and I still need to defeat that boss to be able to trade pokemon to my other games.)
and the team of pokemon you used are limited to around 60 pokemon.
how can you tell from normal pokemon to shadow pokemon?
well you get a girl named Rui.(or whatever you want to call her) she has the ability to see a dark aura around shadow pokemon.
you also got a snag machine that can turn any kind of pokeballs into snag balls.
this is used by snagem members to steal pokemon from their trainers. this is a bad thing to do, but you do this for a good cause, to turn them back to normal.
every shadow pokemon you snagged will only get the move shadow rush.
inorder to "unlock" it's other moves, you must open it's heart some.
you can do this by battling, taking it to day care, or or calling it in battle when it's in hyper mode.
